Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine signed a nearly $11.5 billion two-year transportation budget, asserting it displays the state’s commitment to building the best transportation system possible. However, the spending plan continues a significant increase in state spending, budget documents show. House Bill 54 allocates $5.9 billion in fiscal 2026 and nearly $5.6 billion in fiscal 2027.
